I can't believe it...I actually overslept this morning. I *never* oversleep.

I did break my own record for throwing myself together--15 minutes including packing lunch and an umbrella.
I even managed to score an early bus...so I'm here a little earlier than I was yesterday. Yay me.But I think I'd better do something I haven't done in years and years--use an alarm to get up. )

I should have gone to bed earlier, but I was busy monkeying (Yesss, monkeying) with the spinning wheel.
MacGuyver would be soooooo proud of me--I jury-rigged a part out of an old coat hanger with a huge pair of pliers I own. I figured out difficult schematics involving hazy diagrams Ikea would be proud of, bits of string and goofy little springs. The wheel still needs a little tweaking....but the actual contraption now officially works. Not bad for someone who avoided engineering classes:) (Okay okay, I did take elective shop in high school, so sue me.)

There was gold glitter sprinkled on the sidewalk on the way to the bus stop...even in the darkness of early morning it was beautiful. I want to find that person and give them a big fistful of strawberry Pocky for being so clever...

Knitting Night is now going to be Wednesdays, from Five-ish till whenever we knock off, usually between 7 and 7:30. Knitting is optional, but very fun, and you may be called upon to do sock-puppet theatre at any time:) Dunn Bros off Loring Park, Ma'am!

Aw...seems like there's no good day for everybody...Tuesdays are bad now, Wedesdays suck, I can't do weekends,etc...evenings are the only thing we can all agree on:/

Well, maybe just you and I an knit on a Tuesday, I mean, it's soooo far for me to go and everything:)

I tried being "without clock" in the AM and it worked only about half the time. It does cut down on the frequency of alarm resets. That extra 5-10 minutes of sleep does no good whatsoever. I can't make it to knitting night, but I could maybe make an early evening coffee/snack Wednesday. No one else can make it Wednesday, but you're still invited. See my post from Monday. Short notice, I know, and all... I'll check my post and sirreal1331 at yahoo dot com....
