...We've got an event next door at workies involving a food company I will leave nameless. No big deal, just people in suits going back and forth clutching plastic bags full of mini-convention goodies. A bit boring, really. Well, except for the two protestor-guys hanging around outside wearing Spiderman suits.
Apparently their platform is something along the lines of "Get women out of the workplace." they call themselves, uhhh "Fathers in outrage" or something.. No, wait it's "Fathers sort of upset?" I'm not really sure. I have no idea what this would do with Spiderman--Petey Parker was always so supportive of Mary Jane's modeling career... I'm also a little baffled about their location. Why here? If they were really irate about this "women in the workplace" 50's psuedo-nostagia thing they'd have to go all over town, wouldn't they?
*shakes head in bemused wonderment*
Last time I checked they're still out there. They're legal, not exactly on anyone's property. No, nobody's called Plunketts or Orkin or anything like that...yet. I wonder what kind of trouble I'd get into for giving Spiderman a wedgie? I bet I'd at least get a ticket...
