I took digital pics of the two dolls I brought.. *Rubs hands briskly together.* Now I'm cooking with gas!!! (They posed most prettily.)

And of course there was another birthday in the building...Happy Birthday, Ms. Jenny!!! MMM, cake! (Lifts teacup in toast)

Lately I've been doing my most deep and serious thinking when I've been painting or sculpting. It frustrates me a little because I wouldn't mind writing some of it down and I can't when I'm dripping with paint or my hands are covered with a fine film of Sculpey. (Okay, sometimes I write stuff down with the paintbrush...and it's sloppy. Really sloppy:)
Of course when I come to work, I have to fight the work-thoughts that keep me fed. I scroll down the laundry-list of things to take care of, and any thoughts about what I've been doing or thinking for myself vanish until I leave work again. (Like I wanted to write a long piece about the Elevator Asshole in my building, who struck again and again and again. Maybe later if I get a minute--It's funny.)

I shouldn't knock the work-mode...It is what's letting me do this LJ thing in the first place.
But I'm slavering for that modem to finally come so I can write from home...
