*feets drag a little*
Oct. 27th, 2005 12:00 pmI shouldn't be tired, I had an easy morning and everything. It's just that part of the day that draaaaaaaaaaags just a little...But now I've got a bit of a break, and some knitting. (It's that new skein of the alpaca I spun...it's really kind of nice stuff to knit, the unevenness is a little appealing. I'll have to whip out my cellphone and take pictures.)
Maybe it's the coming dark, I don't really know, but everyone I know seems to be more down than usual...sleepy, struggling with wakefulness, cranky, irritable, forgetful. I'm there myself; really. Even with the Black Mountain of Laundry waiting for me at home, waiting patiently for me to wash it all. I just want to curl up on the couch and drink cocoa and read terribly unstrenuous things. I want to watch trashy films, and eat stuff I didn't have to cook. I want that weird faux-crab stuff, even though there's some perfectly good chicken in my fridge waiting for me to stew it with curry. I want to stare off into space and go "Buhhhhhh" to myself. I want to spin more wool. And more wool. And then knit it. And I want to sleeeeeeeeeeep......
Maybe I'll have more energy when I go home and watch the sun out the window. And then I can put up more spooky things in my apartment. I took Halloween off next week:) That alone is a reason to perk up, a chance to bake and watch silly stuff and run around outside going "Whoooooo!" with friends and whatnot.
But for now, I'm just going to have to put up with more of me being the Guardian of the Artifacts of the Ancient Dead. ("Hey, kid, don't touch that 4'000 year old sarcophagus! You'll poke your eye out!")
So there you are...
