Okay, so I got into the candy...really into the candy...what do you people WANT from me, this is me we're talking about! If I'm not running around with a Nightmare before Christmas tape in my hands all sugared up on Heath bars and covered in glitter then I've been body-snatched, you hear me? Do ya? AAAAAHhahahahahahaaa!!!

And soon I will put on my new aquisitions...I bought a lime-green wig with ponytails stuck all over with bats. And...wings!!! I finally found THE pair of black, glittery fairy-bat wings. I fluttered hither and yon all over Ben the Neighbor's house this weekend, trying hard not to catch any wing-bits on fire from all the candles. I've always wanted wings. Not just any wings, the perfect, perfect wings. And now I have them. The hard bit, aside from manuvering, is to suppress the urge to wear them all over the place. To work. To the grocery store. In the shower. It's hard; they're really pretty...(I will take pictures, so you can see their fantastic beauty for yourself.)

This is one of the most beautiful Samhain nights I can remember; warm enough for the kids, cold enough for me, leaves everywhere and not a hint of snow. I took today off work just to enjoy it. I burned a lot of my candles and did some private spooky-stuff and napped. I'm currently at a friend's house borrowing the 'puter and handing out candy. I've got a copy of the Lugosi "Dracula" with music by the Kronos Quartet all ready to go when we feel like a movie. It's just such a good night:)
