I had custard with breakfast this morning, thanks to Ben the Neighbor...

...I got a chance to catch up with Ben and Petey last night at their place, and it was just so great. We had dinner and petted cats and admired new chicken eggs and pogoed to Melodious Owl:) Ben's been working, Petey's been working and going to school, so they're both busy and frazzled and wanting badly to hibernate until all this winter business is over and done with. But at least we comforted ourselves with homemade custard Petey made with the eggs from the chicken coop. Maaan, I missed the boys so...

Otherwise it's been a very low energy weekend. It's been cold and snowy, so there hasn't been much of an urge to do this outside thing. And it'll be more of the same after work today, since I got more of my wool through the mail as well as a new spinning wheel part. I'll practice with the wheel a bit and then play with the drop spindle for a while...Hoohah!!

So yeah, quietly busy in the snow, that's me...

I DID...and the pictures are so cool!!!

yeah, things have been really hectic with me:/ My mom's moving back to Mn, I'm doing some holiday present-buying and making and whatnot and I've been out a lot. But this week's starting to free up a bit--what's a good night for calling? (Tuesdays' the knitting night so I'm booked, and I have to go to bed before 9.)
