Knitting Night Project? I think sooooo!

I've been holed up in my little warm apartment, listening the the Current and playing with some of the new roving I bought. I have to say: Black merino spins so damn gooooooood. I was suprised by how quickly it spun, too--I had enough to two-ply with this red and blue and purple stuff with the occasional tinselly bit I did last week. It's pretty stuff--if I have any good sun after work today I should try to get a decent picture. *beams proudly* I was going to practice on the wheel with it since it seemed like it would behave so much better than the alpaca I was using...but I ended up being entranced by the drop spindle again. Um, the bath goop got me too. *sighs*

Workies is the usual--early to bed,(sorta) early to rise, early to pull construction guys out of stairwells and whatnot and walk around and walk around and then I can walk around some more. I'm told there's SPO training coming up for me fairly soon, but no dates yes. It's funny--I'm making more money for so much less stress than my last job. I think about how my mornings at the Inferno used to be and grin and think, "Heeheehee...this is so much better!!" I'm thinking of making April Fool's day a personal holiday for me from now on, since that ws my last day as an Inferno employee:)

Off to the races to earn my daily bagel!!
