I'm *still* not tired of the beach...

In fact, once I get done here I'm going in the water...again...
Though this morning was wonderful. A bunch of us all went to the Temple of the Gods this morning, and dropped some coins into the box to light incence for the Amida Buddha and ring the huge bell. We had fun chatting with the old monk feeding the ducks and the carp, and he told us stories about the peacock on the roof who was just so very pleased to announce, "this temple is MINE!!! MINE, MINE!"
Then we drove around the North Shore, watching the surfers and admiring the mountains. This place is just so staggeringly beautiful...I'm going to have to hit the lotter or come up with a Website scheme or do a *lot* of knitting so I can come back. Often. Real often. I wonder who I have to blackmail to get one of those little houses on the North Shore beach?....
I keep on getting little deja-vu flashes while I walk around...some of it's dreams, and some of it's just remembering stuff from being a little kid here. It can be a little disorienting to see just how familiar some of the housing and the landscape seems to be since I haven't been back in nearly 30 years.
It's really very cool:)
So, off I go to the sandy sands...I'll see if I can make a snowman with just beach sand and whatnot. Hehhehheh...

It makes me happy just to know you are there... somebody should be having a fun tropical vacation, even if it can't be me! ;-)
But the lotto is getting pretty big.. *grin*
