...Yesterday at workies I had to fend off a group of gentlemen in suits with yarmucas on who were trying to get into the wing that wasn't open yet. They were using some kind of stud finder on the doors and waving at the architectural intricacies of the windows, frightening our librarian. Pretty surreal stuff...
Fifteen minutes later we had a different guy who threatened us with a vague explosive threat, making us scour the building just to be safe.
Captain Emily assures me this is normal for the Jade Mines at this time of year; that all the crazies come out and visit the nice shiny free museum. The Inferno had a similar problem, so we tried to remember various weirdnesses in each institution; like the guy who came to the Inferno wearing blue cookie-monster-fur pants and a taxidermied frog around his neck, the naked biting jogger in the park, the karate guy who liked to sidekick the sculptures in the garden...you get the idea. Public places lend themselves to some serious whack-job behavior.
But other than the Weird Patrol, I'm good. I'm adding bunny ears to a baby hat for a friend. I watched the sun rise through the fog this morning, drinking tea. Life does not suck:)

I'm sure they were who they said they were, but you just don't go stud-findering public buildings and frightening the librarians...it's just not manners!
