I'm covered in glitter again...
Apr. 4th, 2006 12:52 pmHeh. Fairy Jasmine bath bomb:)
I'm enjoying the last slack-off day for my three-day weekend. Happy anniversary for my new job, me. Why thank you, me, what a lovely thought...
In this three days of not working:
I've gotten to the Last Sleeve on the sweater I'm getting paid for. It looks really good...now I just have to de-cat-hair it:)
I have no news from the doctors from last week. The clinic said it would let me know when they had anything after I called them yesterday. Doctors. Phah.
I had a great lunch with friends--one of them's back from Tuscany, and ate more red chillis in a sitting than anyone I've ever seen who knew what they were...
I caught up on some of my Red Dwarf watching, and also admired or threw verbal muck at various offerings from the SciFi channel...
And I got my new Lazy Kate in the mail.(It's a small rack made to hold spinning wheel bobbins so you can spin two strands of yarn together. Often when you order spinning wheels the Lazy Kates come with the package, but as mine's a Found Object, I've been spending time hunting down accessories that can work with my mystery machine.) Now it'll be much much faster to two-ply my spinning, instead of screwing around with the drop spindle and having stuff tangle off the bobbins. I just have to assemble it and possibly stain or paint it. *starts to whimper* I wanna paint it and some of my spinning wheel black, and my friends scold me. Which makes the urge to paint things black that much stronger. I may have to cave soon...*whimpers*
so many projects I could be doing...and so little inclination today...hehhehheh...
