Today I'm still working the Death By Flowers events...So far many, many people in nice clothes have been breathtakingly rude as only the general public let loose can be. Usually I'm an easygoing creature who likes humanity in general, but today I keep muttering, "Die, juuuuuust die" under my breath when someone's waving papers under my face and demanding to know the most idiotic things.

Dear ladies and gentlemen, if you yourself are out in a public area, be kind as you can muster to the long-suffering customer service people. We really really honestly don't want to hate your guts all day long. But we can, and we will, because hell hath no fury like customer service workers being lied to, condescended to, ignored or yelled at.

Right now people in pastel clothing and silk flowers just give me starting fits. I'm sure it'll die down with a couple of days off...a day and a half from now...*whine*

To me, the saddest and most discouraging part of working in Customer Service is how many people lie. Bleah. I wish you the best day possible!

At least I get to get challenged by my customers one family at a time. But that also gives me the opportunity to be assailed by rudeness from the same family allllll day long.
