...Captain Emily is going, "Ow, ow, ow..." she started working out again after a break, and her muscles are officially Not Happy with her. Poor thing.

I'm better than yesterday--I got some better sleep and spent some quality time with the spinning wheel last night and this morning. It's relaxing stuff now that I know what I'm doing, unlike the frustrating mess that was the learning process. The really fun part will be knitting things with this stuff:) I have red and yellow and purple yarn with gold sparklies in it--handbag? Hat? Knife-cosy? Scary puppet with button eyes? If I spin enough of it, all these things and more!!

But now I'm working and hoping like hell the time flies so I can reach my lovely lovely 4-day weekend. I wanna wallow in the slack!!! I wanna sit somewhere porchish with a cup of tea and stuff!!! I wanna hang with the chickens and Ben and Petey!!

*sighs and tries to be patient*
