Girly-girl's night out...

I went over to help with my friend Morgan's apartment yesterday after work, only to find that she and another friend had done most of the hard stuff already. So to replace all the box-lifting we were supposed to do, we instead went to the King and I for Thai food and cocktails. (Yeaaaah, I hate it when my friends move, bebeh...) It was loads of fun; lots of laughing and curry and deciding on drinks. I hadn't been there for a *while*, but used to be a frequent customer since their green curry with duck makes me tear up with joy...(Okay, it also sets my mouth on fire, so maybe that's technically where the tears come from, but it is still Food of the Gods.) One Charteuse martini and the bartender recognized me, and we had a chance to catch up for a bit, which was cool...I feel like I have a small piece of my past handed gently back to me, in a good way.

I went home with a big sack full of peanut curry and vinegared cucumber salad, and floated in a hot tub full of Lush products for a while. Nope nope, not spoiled, not me...

For those of you who don't know what's happening, I copied the subject of the following link in a post I made to defend myself against a truly vicious attack on both me and my wife honeytiger, who defended me in the thread of that post. I was called an "adulterer" and the user made light of a molestation that my wife endured as an 8 year old. BTW- LJ abuse has been of no help to us at all.

I have filed a counter-notification on the copyright issue and if it gets to court- I'll be ready and I'll file a counter suit for defamation.
