..Uhhh, cake, please!

Actually I'm outta cake--good thing, too. I shared the last of the cupcakes I baked with friends last night. It's been funny--hot weather and such, and what did I want to do? Bake. *shakes head* Yes, I am in fact crazy. I'm in a *mood* too; last night from--lessee, midnight to 3 or 4 am there was TONS of noise from some party across the way. Usually I can sleep through anything, but you try getting a night's sleep with people shrieking "You have AIDS!" and hand-clapping and chanting "Vagina" over and over...the giggling alone sounded like hyenas were having a kegger over there. Hopefully the cops came by on a disturbing the peace rap. I just stuffed my ears with tissue paper and shoved a pillow over my head...

And I'm going to be *much* crazier this week...Well, Friday and Saturday, anyway. I'll try to at least be entertainingly crazy, though. I'm halfway there; being stubborn about this air-conditioning thing. I don't want to use it more than I have to. So I am a sweltery Maus, which is simply Not Good. I'm sure I'll crumble and turn it on when I get hot enough and all the yarn starts to melt...

And that's the truth. Pttttthphthhh...

I am a miser with the air conditioning too. I won't turn it on unless it's over 80, at least, and even then I might not.

I have found I sleep better when it's on in the bedroom so sometimes I'll turn the little one on in there just to sleep, then off again when I get up.
