...My friendMamichan is having a bunch of us stop by a local place for drinks after work tonight. I think I can stop buy and buy her something with a fruity umbrella in it:)

But I can't stay long--I've got some clothes to pick out for a wedding I've been invited to this weekend. I'll have to pick out something that isn't *entirely* black. I think I can cheat--I have a red skirt with beads on the hem that might do the trick nicely with the black blouse and black tights and black shoes:) I can't help it--all my best clothes are darkity dark dark...

Otherwise things are okay...I'm kind of grumpulent today. It's probably too complex to write about first thing in the morning, but it'll be okay--my base personality of Cheerful Maus should emerge after another cup of tea and some rice crackers for Second Breakfast later this morning...

Beth has noted that the number of black T-shirts in my laundry has undergone a spike recently. It's all those ThinkGeek shirts I got on sale for $5 apiece.

Yeah, cheap cool t-shirts will do that to a wardrobe...

My friend Captain Emily is responsible for a lot of my recent wardrobe changes--gray t-shirts with funny black logos only fellow Geeks and Goths understand. I went to the state fair with my "Knitting for Cthuhlu" t-shirt on and got many, many puzzled looks from other knitters who don't read Lovecraft:)
