...sleepy, but cheerful. ZzzzzzzZZzzzzzzzz....

And later I'm going to Mai Village for dinner. Not your village, Mai village. Spring rolls in the immediate future should make anybody happy...and if not, as the saying goes, "If it can't light your fire, your wood is wet..."

And I'm not going anywhere near your sordid damp kindling, no indeed I won't. Eeew.

We're going out tonight with a couple of friends for Thai food.

EE-Sane Thai-Lao Cuisine
"This unassuming family-run eatery on Farwell Avenue is one of the city's best with sumptuous seafood dishes and portions that will boggle the mind. The fact that it seems to always be crowded is a good sign, but it also means you sometimes need to wait. But don't give up, it's worth it. Order a Singha from the bar and breathe in the alluring aroma."

I keep reading that as "Mai Tai Village"...wishful thinking on my part, I suppose.

Nah, Mai Village is a lovely restaurant in St. Paul. The neighborhood is so-so, but inside, it's beautiful. You can read a full review here (http://citypages.com/databank/25/1222/article12094.asp). This review includes three paragraphs on the star attraction, Bo 7 Mon, a seven course beef banquet for under 20 bucks.

But all I wanted was a Mai Tai.

If I knew what goes in one

A liqueur distilled from the skinny black ties of New Wave has-beens (http://www.officialdougfieger.com/dfhome.htm)?
