Happy Easter, folks...
Apr. 8th, 2007 09:11 amHeh...in the interest of celebrating a day of pastels, bunnies and more sugar than anyone should try to eat in one sitting, I present to you...
Ms Mausi's Midwestern Lutheran-born Goth-hipster-Neopagan attempt at Yiddish Haiku...
Sorry it's a bit choppy...it was translated from English to Yiddish to Pirate an then back to...uh, English. Sorta.
(Ahem)
Shpizl in my hand,
I make shprokh with san chutzpah,
I'm yam-gazlen. Yarr!!
Translation: Knitting needle in my hand, I make magical incantation with bad je ne sais quoi, I'm a pirate. Yarr!!
I blame hanging out with Matthew and the Interwebs in general:)
