Campfire dogs are the best dogs...
Apr. 22nd, 2007 09:43 amI had the best best evening with the cow-irkers I like best...the Early Morning Mafia.
(We didn't pick the name; our boss labeled us when he heard us cackling and giggling and up to No Good on those early morning shifts, and it stuck like glue.) We've been trying to be a more inclusive organized crime ssociation, so last night we went out for Greek food. Then sometime we plan to do Sushi for the Yakuza, Chinese for the tongs, and some pubs for the Irish and North London Mob. We feasted and talked smack about other cow-irkers and their potential vampiric tendencies...I'm sure we scared the table next to us while we figured out who got to be whose Nosferatu bride:)...
After all that luscious Greek food I went to Ben and Peaty's for Peat's birthday...and he was transfixed with delight with the squid-whisk I brought him as a gift. (Uhhh...that would be a whisk in the shape of a squid. It was beeeyootiful...)
Then we hung out by the campfire with my new neighbors, eating sausage and cake and being serenaded by a friend's friend passing through...bliss, beautiful starry bliss, and all in my soon-to-be backyard!!!
*siiigh*
I'm tired, but in a good way. Life doesn't suck:)
