I saw 28 Days Later after a bout of cleaning and packing yesterday...thank the gods I saw it in broad daylight...Holy crap!!!! I've been a zombie movie junkie for ages so it takes something special to make me want to sleep with the morningstar mace by the bed, but that really did the job for me. The Infected were filmed so well, so disturbingly. I think the worst part was the military base with Dr Who in charge, trying to lure women to the base as sex slaves for the soldiers...*shudder* More realistic than I like to think about, really...

I'm glad it's a sunny day out with all the flowers coming out to make me feel safe. No zombies coming to get me. No Evil Dr Who about to make me wear something fetching...

Holy grass-munchers! I saw that too. Still scares the cows out of the barn for me!!! But, Cillian Murphy makes up for all my fears. ^_^

It was a good movie. Mel hadn't seen it before so we watched it last night. I want to see 28 Weeks Later now :)

That's right, there's a sequel out now....*gulp* Do you think it'll be any good or will it enter the arena of "They shouldn't have bothered?"

I don't know. From the previews, it looks to be very different from the first one. The infection is over and people are coming back. Then the infection starts again and the military gets involved. So it could go either way. Part of me expects something like the original Day of the Dead remade in a new Dawn of the Dead style, but the first movie was different from my expectations, so the new one could be too.

I'm cautious but optimistic at this point.

Have you seen Shaun of the Dead? Ok, lowering the tone a bit, but UK Zombie movies aren't exactly a dime a dozen at the moment. It's not genius, but it's full of vim.
