I saw a couple of people who worked with me at the Minimalist Inferno this morning. It was kind of nice; they were always good people and we got a chance to ask back and forth how things were going before they had their appointments. One of them was telling me she was just asking about how I was the other day, and I answered back, "Not in a bad way I hope; like "Thank god she hasn't tried to set fire to the Inferno yet!" I'm glad to see these people and I liked working with them but...man, I'm so glad I got out of there. So glad.
Meanwhile I have a scraped bit on my knuckle from scrubbing my floor last night. The landlord slipped a note under the door letting me know they were showing my place, so I did some last-minute cleaning and hiding of good stuff.
I'm sure this is everybody; it's a little nerve-wracking thinking of strange people in your apartment even though you're moving out and whatnot. I'm sure the prospective renter will be so distracted by the spinning wheel and the shelf of pottery skulls that they may not notice any extra dirt...but I notice. So I feel better for the quick clean:)
In other news, sounds like Mr. Nimoy's back in town. I hope he comes to the Jade Mines again like he did for the last show. That's still one of my favorite moments, walking around going, "Was that just Mr. Spock?!? Naaaah, couldn't be...but he sure looks like--Waitaminute..." Heh. Doesn't take much to make me happy, just a Star Trek celebrity checking out the paintings...
I must go drink caffeine now...the weather's making me sleeeeeeeepy...
