msfledermaus | Outside and inside...

...It's all dark and breezy outside, really beautiful stay-at-home weather. I was spinning for a while this morning and appreciating the cool air coming through the window...then grumbing and getting ready for work. All attempts to talk the captain into closing up shop and letting us all go home have failed miserably, so I'll have to do the best I can. Hmph...

I love weather like this. Last night I was dreaming about walking in a forested place at night with friends, finding a nice grassy place for a midnight picnic. I passed by huge beautiful tulip trees--trees with huge orange and red and yellow flowers drooping down and shedding petals all over me. There were butterflies in large groups fluttering over the blossoms,and even though it was night the grass and trees were lit with small warm spotlights. Then I stumbled upon a small hut/classroom with an odd metal spinning wheel which looked like it was made from an old treadle sewing maching and a bicycle. Of course when I woke up I needed to play with my wheel for a bit before work...

I keep looking outside at the wind blowing the petals off the crabapple trees and thinking of the trees in my dream:)
