msfledermaus...Mfff..whuh? Ohyeah, it's my day off...And there's nothing I have to do until tomorrow...
I did do a little shopping with the Queen of Stuff, though. I refrained from buying many a cool thing since I'm moving and not wanting to move more stuff than I have to. The Queen of Stuff accuses me of packing things too early. Guilty. But the more I pack now the less I'll have to do later:) I really hate the middle stage of the whole moving process, when it's mostly a waiting game--waiting and rounding up as many boxes as I can get my greedy little hands on. Happily my apartment has a pretty decent cardboard dumpster and I've been buying some extra boxes from the hardware store down the street. I need 'em, too--Turns out I have not one but two boxes full of skulls now. And it coulda been three--someone was throwing out a perfectly good plastic Halloween skeleton when I was leaving for work yesterday. If I'd really been thinking about it I woulda tossed the skull for it in my bag and left it on top of Captain Emily's locker at work. I was afraid I'd miss my bus, so I lamed out. D'ohhhhhhh...
I'm feeling pretty content right now, though. I'm full of jojo potatoes and chicken and had a nap on the couch. I've been chasing other people's cats, or they've been curled up on my feet. I'm really happy about having a good solid day off before I have to do Union stuff tomorrow and meet up with my new landlord to sign the new lease and whatnot. It's so good to have a slack day...
