A co-worker of mine refused to go to New Orleans for a conference (pre-Katrina) becasue of two things: 1) Too many serial killers in Louisiana and 2) people are buried above ground. Hey, Zombies don't let 6 feet o'dirt stop 'em ;)

Most of the violent crime is local vs. local. The Auhorities tend to come down very hard on criminals who prey on tourists... A little good juju in your pocket will ward off most of the dangerous persons, but with zombies, all bets are off.

Maybe I should buy some vampire fangs before I go, and keep them ready in case I have to leer at a mugger. A friend of mine did that once and they guy bolted immediately:)
