What a crazy week. Things are tense at work for Uniony reasons. Then I come home and stuff boxes. At least the boxes are chaos I'm responsible for; chaos I control to some extent. In fact, the light at the end of the boxy tunnel is in sight--I now just have the bathroom (about a box and a half) and the kitchen.(about four boxes and maybe a trash bag.) Everything else is in Stuff Containment Units of some kind. Yes, I'm proud. Memo to myself: Own Less KnickKnacks next time I move...

And after today's workity work, I can go home and finish everything for the Big Furniture Move tomorrow. I'm buying drinks and have Pizza Luce' on speed-dial. *rubs hands* I can hardly wait...

It took me 30 years to realize this, but unions exist basically because employers are greedy and have lousy social skills. Sometimes the latter is more important in the end than who gets paid more...

AW, that's terrible!! Can you touch up the damage? I hope the rest of your move wasn't like that, darlin'...you need some medicinal chocolate RIGHT NOW!!!

My move went pretty well, just about the best it could go considering it was a move. Now I'm in the "Get to know the neighbors and feed them chocolate and curry" phase:)

The damage wasn't too bad but I had to touch up the rest of the walls cause everyone who helped us move thought it was okay to rub the furniture up against them. Ugh!

I understand...I'm still looking for the bag that has my paperwork, a bill and my laundry card. I had them next to the phone and somebody stuffed them...er, somewhere...I'll find it eventually, I'm sure. I'm just grateful for all the help I got:)

It's too bad we're not neighbors...I make a mean curry, too...mmmmm...
