msfledermausI got caught in the rain on the way home, just when the sky opened up. Drenched, I was!! My weeny umbrella was mostly used to protect my purse and cellphone...
...so today, I have the Big Sturdy Umbrella for heading home. So. There.
Otherwise, things are okay. Work is work--bit frustrating, bit good, bit weird. We had a blackout today so lots of scrambing from my department but we're okay now. And I keep looking forward to going home and making supper, maybe waving out the windows at Bent he Neighbor and Peaty. They made me the yogurt I had for breakfast this morning. And now that I'm more used to the place and had a chance to hang a few things up, I slept like a babe. I am utterly spoiled lately, yes I am. I'd better start doing better things for people RIGHT NOW, just to keep up with all the spoiling--or the guilt will eat me alive like so many rabid park squirrels...
But right now I'll settle for going home and knitting things while my clothes dry out in the kitchen:)
