...We had a fire drill today in the Jade Mines. Much running about and various things making noises. I kind of enjoyed it:)

Meanwhile, I am up to my ears in eggs. Eggs! So many eggs!!! I think I need to get more egg recipies now that I have about a dozen or more at any given time and more coming every day. Peaty gave me two yesterday, still warm from the chicken. I scrambled them for breakfast this morning. But since I've unpacked my kitchen and such I bet I could bake a bunch of them into various baked goods. Memo to myself: Check Food.com for cookie recipies...

In unrelated stuff, I heard about the Harry Potter Theme Park somebody's been working on...my internal conversation on the topic went something like this:

Inner child: "Oboyoboyoboy, I wanna goooo, I wanna goooo!!!"
Inner adult: "Umm...but they're not even done building it, and crass commericalism is against my principles. Plus, wouldn't I be just a little old for that kind of thing?"
Inner Demon: "c'mon, ya wanna, ya know ya wanna!! Besides, you know and I know that it'll be Goth Central once it's finished, just like Disneyland used to be."
Inner Accountant: "Yeah, but think of the overtime you'd have to pull to afford a trip like that. Look at Disneyworld's price tag...Yikes!"
Inner Child: *Throws tantrum* "I wanna goooooooooooo!!!"
Inner adult: "Well, the nice thing about being an adult is you can afford some of the cooler toys, right?"
Inner Demon: "Hey, that was my arguement! Hehhehhehhhh!"
Inner Babysitter: "Alright, all of you--just one cup of hot chocolate and then bedtime for all of you, okay? Not. One. Peep..."


So there you are...

Maybe it won't be as expensive as DisneyWorld. My dad gets all the roller coaster news because he works for Anheuser-Busch and this is what he emailed me this morning:

Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. and the Universal Orlando Resort said they will open a theme park in Florida based on the Harry Potter novels in late 2009. The park, called the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, will feature rides, shops and attractions from the books that follow the adventures of the teenage wizard, the companies said. The village of Hogsmeade, the mysterious Forbidden Forest and Hogwarts castle will be recreated.

I hate to be a common scold, but take care not to eat all the eggs you receive. Baked goods are an excellent way to convey eggs to ohers -- and most of the time, they won't even know the little cholesterol bombs are in there. Bwahaha!

It would be physically impossible for me to eat all these eggs. But I bet it would be entertaining to watch me try...oooog,the stomachache!!


so instead, yes, the baked goods route it is, I suspect. I think I'll have to invest in a good cake cookbook or something...

Hey, that would be good fun too:)

As for my inner dialogue..it's awful when the voices gamg up and all start screaming, "I want chocolate! I want chocolate!" Or chanting bad 80's lyrics at me when I'm trying to concentrate. So it's good when they're at least entertaining...
