*mild grumble*
Jun. 6th, 2007 01:48 pmA lot of my cow-irkers are coming down with some new plague lately...and today my head hurts a bit. I'm *hoping* it's just the new pressure system coming in and not some preamble to a summer cold...
But Halfmoom Mollie gave me this great idea to write down some Ms Maus-style Feng Shui...(Small note: I am completely unaccredited by anybody whatsoever; I can pretty much guarantee that my methods will not make you rich or improve your relationship. Use at your own risk...)
I reccomend various large rocks and crystals in the North side of your domicile. In fact I packed a box clearly labeled, "Box of Rocks" when I moved. If you don't have anything fancy, potting soil spread all over the windowsills would work too...
Red things improve your mood immesely. Red blankets, red pillows on the floor, red paintings, red curtains, entire red rooms. It may make your friends chant, 'Redrum...Redrum..." when they come to visit, but just ignore them and feed them...
...Cheese. It isn't a Maushaus with some kind of decent cheese, Y'know. And crackers. And some kind of fruit. And a bit of wine. And Wallace and Gromit on the tv...
Skulls on a special shelf will make you contemplate your life and attract much conversation. I'm still unpacking the rest of them to stick on shelves in my living room, along with the rest of the spooky candles and whatnot...
Tiki anything will enliven a space immensely. My sole tiki mug has a place of honor on a special "Yarr, I'm a pirate" shelf unit in my kitchen.(Along with the monekys-with-fezzes salt and pepper shakers and the skull shot glasses and the red and white striped silk scarf over the top...)
Your yarn must have it's own special storage corner, or it will gleefully take over the rest of your house without permission. Mine is doing that anyway, even with it's atractive storage boxes. D'ohhhh...
I'm sure I'll think of more Mausi Feng-Shui when I get a chance later...but for now I should just eat my Ibuprofin like a good girl and think longingly of the chocolate in the fridge at home...

Date: 2007-06-06 07:32 pm (UTC)I think you should publish your feng-shui advice...but one thing you should mention, people with kitty cats should not spread potting soil all over the windowsills. Not a good idea AT ALL.
