Ms Posh-Maus strikes again...

...This morning I went to Wilde Roast and ate creme' brulee' french toast again. Yes, again. In case you're sitting there going, "Yes, and?" I should describe the breakfast in question. Several pieces of a baguette are cut in manageable pieces and dipped in some sort of custary eggy-cream mixture, then I suspect they're layered with the cherries and peaches underneath them on their baking sheet or what have you...then given a top layer of sugar to carmelize on the top when broiled. Then the whipped cream is ladled onto the side with the blueberries and strawberry, and the roasted pecans are sprinkled along with a bit of powdered sugar over the whole thing before the cup of maple syrup is placed on the side....(Wilde Roast used to have pecan butter, but this is tasty too.)

The effect is like someone poking the pleasure centers in your hypothalamus with a taser: Pure yumminess:)

And yesterday I was out at Ikea, checking out chandeliers. Yeeees, chandeliers. Something extra sparkly for the Rainy Day Craft Room to tart up all that Victorian-Ness. I think I'll probably find the perfect one if I haunt all the funky house-alvage places in my new neighborhood. It's terrible; I AM becoming one of these remodeling-obsessed people. I'm even keeping an eye out for bamboo shades to tiki-up my new kitchen. Shameless tiki-hussy, I am!!! *shakes head*

...Which means I need more tiki mugs. Which means I need to drink more tiki drinks. Poor, poor, pitiful little meeee....

I saw that today at target when I bought my bamboo leaves shower curtain. Target is eeeevil; spawn of the deeevil...and I love it so.
