...I can hardly wait for it to rain and cool us all down. I've been feeling like I'm melting for far too long. Maus + Heat = puddle of Maus whining on the floor and going, "Buuuuuuhhhhh"... Even indoors in the a/c I have the heat-headache everybody else probably has. At least working in places like the Jade Mines means I've got the best a/c access in the business:)

I just wanna drag myself through July to get to the good stuff: State Fair time, the beginnings of Autumn, etcetra. And I'm not-very-patiently waiting for the Harry Potter movie and the Harry Potter book and the Harry Potter knitting book,(Yes, there is one--damn you, Pattternworks!) and jeez, I dunno--Harry Potter Hogwarts underoos or something. I think I'm just wanting all this because otherwise July is such a god-awful month with the heat and the melting and whatnot...

Anyway, off to go guard the doors and check the skies. Stay cool, you melty peoples, you!!

One of the fun bits about having WGN on my cable out here in California is getting to see all the weather reports from that area. It's amazing to note the nearly 20 degree temperature shift from one side of the cold front heading your way to the other side of it.

The Harry Potter knitting book is teh bestest. It almost makes me want to learn to do more than just the knit stitch.
