Fez!! I gots Fez!!!

msfledermaus...I was having a lovely browse yesterday in an antique store in NE. I found a lot of cool things--Peaty and Erin kept sticking various hats on my head, each one more flower-encrusted and horrifying than the last. I look pretty silly in most hats, alas...except for...THE FEZ!!
I found it in the bottom of a cabinet full of little felt Shriners hats. Burgundy with a black tassel, and gold embroidery, the whole works. I put it on my head and it was a trancendent moment of fez-ness. Now it's sitting jauntily on one of my styrofoam heads in the Rainy-Day Craft Room. I already threatened to wear it to Ben and Peaty's wedding. Hehhehheh...(No, I probably will find a nice cartwheel hat for the occasion instead. But-but-but--I gots FEZ!!!!)
It's too hot for hats today, or else I would have worn my fez to work. Humph.
