...The 35W bridge to University Avenue fell into the river at 6 pm, full of cars...

...That's the third bridge down from where I live; a little more than a mile away. Ben the Neighbor takes that bridge home every day. Thank the gods he got lazy and took a bus the other way instead of walking under the bridge...we could have lost him so easily. I hugged the crap out of him when I saw him and Peaty. Anyway, the phones are all tied up so I figured I'd post quick and hope that's not too jammed too...It's going to storm in a minute, too. *looks up unhappily at the sky*

I'm okay; I take a different bridge home from work. Ben and Peaty and Nathan and Miss Kitty and Fleur and the Queen of Stuff are all okay; though we can't get ahold of my downstairs neighbor. We're all okay so far, and I'll update when I can.

I take a different bridge too and I didn't even know about the bridge until my BOSS called. And then my daughter. And my sister. And Rap. And my dad. And all sorts of folks.
