Tomorrow makes for the wheeee!
Aug. 31st, 2007 06:13 am...Tomorrow is the start of my new schedule at the Jade Mines...luxurious Saturday, and all mine, all mine...
*runs around in circles*
Today should be good as well. It's Ben the Neighbor's Birthday, so last night I dropped off his presents--a great, funny foodie-book and a Heidi-esque doll I'd transformed into a Zombie menace. I'm very pleased, oh yes I am, and Ben seemed so too. The neighbors are doing very well, even though they now have some pigeons to complete the Ben-and-Peaty Zoo. Peaty was working at the State Fair and pleaded with Ben over the phone for "Just one pigeon?" "Ben said, "Alright, just *one* pigeon." There are now four pigeons. *shakes head in amusement* Being an Urban Agrarian has it's challenges--Liscensing, care and feeding, your sweetheart popping up with more livestock than you intended...I keep telling Ben that squabs are coming back in fashion in trendy restuarants...
So that's the week in my portion of Mausiland. I also slipped a bit in my tub, and got a fairly good bruise on my thigh. (Yes, I do have sticky things on the bottom of the tub--one of those slipped, too. Rassing frassing cheapy Target starfish...) It annoys me right now since I sit on a floor cushion and type on my lap. Humph. But it's slathered with arnica and it's healing fast.
*slurps tea at you*

Date: 2007-08-31 05:33 pm (UTC)And I kept meaning to call this week and it all got buggered up. Tpppht.
But hey, I have an unexpected weekend in the middle of October--the 13th and 14th. Ben and Peaty postponed their wedding since they were having trouble getting organized, so I have a whole weekend even. Whaddaya think? Is that too late in the year? It should be really pretty here; and not *too* cold...*grin*
let me know, and I can try other stuff if you like...
