...I just trotted out to the link to get a CrappyPages...forgetting of course that they don't deliver until later this afternoon. My new schedule tricked me into thinking it was Thursday instead of Wednesday. I muttered, "Baka! bakabakabakabaka!" all the way back to the breakroom.

I don't even know why I bother. Our local weekly is really dumbed down now. The main articles are either blah or just not worth reading except for the food column, which is still incredibly good. Sometimes there's the occasionally amusing film critique or blotter article or whatever, but mostly it's not worth the energy anymore. I should just look it up online like other people:/ But it's the comfortable ritual I've gotten into over the years, and I suppose it's just a tough habit to break...
