Storms and dreams of storms...

...The thunderstorm last night gave me very odd dreams, about people fixing my roof, (there actually are people fixing my roof) and finding this whole small ecosystem, with rodents and flowers and mushrooms and such. It was kind of cool except for I woke up halfway through to more thunder and lightning...

My actual life is chugging along. Work is work, but on the whole I'm so glad it's autumn at last and finally. Last year I missed so much of autumn because of my surgery, and my body remembers everything pretty clearly...so when I'm outside my inner monologue is something like this:

Eyes: "Lookit! The leaves are changing!"
Brain: "Yeah, that's pretty cool. Remember the leaves changing last year?"
Abdomen: "Yeah, that sucked; we had to watch it all out the window."
Scar: "I really didn't like it; it was cold and I hurt a lot when I had to go outside."
Brain:"Well, it's all right now, so don't fret, alright?"
Scar: "Oh...okay....Hey, barometer's changing! *twinge*"
Brain: "Will you knock that crap off? I'm trying to concentrate on the leaves!"
Eyes: "Leaves, you guys!! Red and orange and yellow!! Leaves leaves leaves!!!"

So there you are...

& I didnt know you had a surgery....boo....but glad this year will be better.

I call it the Lord Voldemort scar-- it twinges when he's up to something, or the weather changes. It doesn't happen often, which is good, and it's really lessened with time. I'm just so glad I get a real autumn this year when I can run around and do fun things:)
