Recently I've been grumpulunt lately...I think it was just the combination of weather and events and lots and lots of working. This last weekend was Toddlergheddon at the Mines, so to keep my spirits up I insulted everybody who asked me to do so on Facebook. But this is not for you, beloved LJers...

Nonono, instead, for you and only you, I have the Squee-athon. For anyone who asks me to, I will give the most florid, over-the-top compliments you've ever heard. Big, brassy, wonderful compliments that will make your cheeks glow and your eyes sparkle with life! Incredibly silly compliments that will make you think I am an A+ weirdo! All for you, just for the asking!

I did, thank goodness. Though all those toddlers and their parents would have stopped right in their tracks at the first glimpse of your breathtaking beauty. You, sir, are the sole and only reason that Milwaukee has anything great about it. That's right, you! If the Chamber of Commerce knew what they were doing, they'd put up a huge sign at your house, saying,"The Residence of Kevin, Bon Vivant!" And people would ooh and ahh every time they saw your back garden, or your inspiring, heroic figure toting a shovel or the lawn mower or driving out for groceries. There would be enthusiastic applause when you step out for the day and arrive home at night, having to wedge yourself between all the happy offerings of flowers, candy, balloons and plush Cthuhlus. You personally would revitalize an entire city, I tellya! But since you're a modest fellow, it's probably better to lie low and let your brilliant and excellent personality shine for your friends and family. And I am so happy to be in their number!!
