...If I hadn't eaten it all last night.

I've been almost ferally hungry these last couple of days. (yes, it's hormone-based, so there:P) The things I've craved are:

Various green leafy things, which are in a quickly dwindling bag in my fridge.

Chocolate, which thoughtfully work has been providing all over the building.

Protein in all it's forms...I wolfed down seafood last night, tore through an entire pack of fake-lobster stuff yesterday and there's some dead bovine in my fridge waiting for me to howl and snarl and rend it edible.

Coffee Heath Bar Crunch...and my store's out again...they bought...*vanilla* heath bar crunch....they...will...pay.....*shakes in subdued fury*

Sushi. If anyone sees Lund's in a pile of smoking wreckage, you'll find me wandering down the street eating maki's and humming happily to myself.

Don't be afraid, this passes...just like a lunar cycle...

hehhehheh...hahahahaha...WHAAAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!!!
AWHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
*Foam foam snarl growl*

*Picks a card from the top*

Five of Wands:
Although there is fierce competition to gain a place in the Fire Wand circus, Lucy is determined and has a strong will. There are times in our lives when we must struggle in order to succeed. Here we see how Lucy has punctured five wands through her hed to get accepted onto the circus.

Divinitory meaning: The five of Wands represents the strength and courage to cope with challenges.

Again with the wands... This is a more positive one than yesterday's, though. Hopefully it won't be a literal translation of today--If I stagger out the door at work with five ballpoints stabbed into my head, you know what's to blame:)

WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?!?!?!

How can this country DO something like this?!?!?!?!?!

Yes yes, I know what kind of climate we're in...but we are NOT Nazi-era Germany. This was exactly the kind of trick the Nazis pulled back in the day.

I'm nauseated and ashamed at my country.

But no less angry about the arrests of over 500 Middle Eastern men in California over very, very flimsy charges, thanks to our new Homeland Security act.

And the headlines are no less comforting. Let's face it, unless we all scream our heads off no, we're going to war. We'll probably go to war anyway.

The only bright bit so far newswise is the tragicomedy of Trent "No really, folks, I didn't mean it" Lott. I hope he keeps his seat--let him be a reminder of what people REALLY voted for...People who will smile sweetly to your faces and say the most reassuringly comforting stuff about protection, and then turn right back around and laugh at you when your back is turned...

Again, please forgive the politcal tirade. I'm just so tired and pissed off and trying to figure out what the hell to do next, like everyone else. I spent time looking at a Pottery Barn catalog, just dreaming about pretty furniture and pain tand bookshelves and not having to worry about a thing. That's why Pottery Barn sells $200 barstools, I tell ya. Reassuring dreams of peace.

*looks at free rickety barstools*

If you can't have peace, you can at least have interesting.
*Dabs glitter on the rungs just for the hell of it*

When you daydream, what do you like to daydream about?

Do you go somewhere specific? Dream of wine and rose or mansions or beaches or living a Rock&roll lifestyle? Faraway places? People you miss? Sexual stuff?
Being warm and cuddled or wind tossed and dramatic? Being a hero out of a Kung-fu movie? Bitten by radioactive cockroaches and gaining special powers? All of the above? (Okay, maybe not the roaches part...)

Tell me about your best, best daydream, your absolute favorite.
*Puts up little projector and starts playing moving pictures of red red poppies all over the walls, ala Diane Thater...and puts "Milk and Kisses" by the Cocteau Twins into the new cd player*

There, now that you're all relaxed...
