Red dreams...

Usually for about a week a month my dreams get really primal and down to the guts of my current emotions. (draw you're own conclusions--You're probably not wrong.) This week is no exception.
I dreampt about a friend I had. We had a huge, blow-out fight in my dream that we never had while we were friends but I always wished we did--I always felt cut off, that things between us were always ended before I could even tell how I felt about it. I was just getting into the part where I was yelling about how predictable the behavior was and how shitty I felt about it when *bam!* I woke up with the credits rolling. Frustrating stuff. But realistic, really--I didn't really get any closure about it in real time, either. But at least I got some of it out, one way or another.

And the fight started around what kind of soda I wanted...and I woke up thirsty.

I ran to look out the conference room window. The skies are gray here but everything is dry. Some of the parking structures have the last of a snow pile that hasn't quite melted.

They're only predicting rain for us, with maybe a little snow mixed in over the weekend.
