Day 5....

...it's Friday, and so far I'm still greedily enjoying my time off:) I have no idea if the courthouse is going to actually summon me or not. It feels very strange to have an entire week of downtime thanks to Hennepin county. (This is not a complaint, you understand. wheeee!)

And tonight I'm having dinner with some friends. I'm trying to think of something nice and dessert-y I can bring. Maybe.......cheesecake?

The snow's been drifting outside my window. It's really lovely. I've just finished Mike Nelson's book, "Death Rat". If you are a Minnesotan, you MUST buy this book. If you are not a Minnesotan, this will tell you all you need to know about us:) Now not only am I scarred for life, but now I know how to make a proper "Yank Me, Crank Me"...*shudder* The horror...the horror...

Yes...there must be Tiki Party... what day, I wonder? Hmm...Maybe Monday,
because if I don't have to be at the courthouse I can be online for a fair part of the day:)

It is, especially since I'm surpised the Inferno isn't trying to make me work anyway...but there's no way they would be able to keep up with an undefined schedule if I do get called in, so this is easier for everybody involved... and they're so busy right now there's no way they can juggle it.

At least I'm getting lots of rest, and lots of art-time:)

I know you don't speak with a Minnesotan accent, but can you fake a good one? Al Franken cracks me up. His isn't very strong, but it's around the edges.
