More obsessive spinning...

...Is it really obsessive to spin wool in July before 6 am? Yes, Yes I believe it is...
Too hot to knit any of it, though. Most of my little knitting projects are just that right now--little, so they don't keep my lap too warm. I've been crocheting lots of guts to go into some more creatures I made. I found the perfect yarn for intestines and everything; this kind of pinkish-orangeish-yellowish-purplish stuff. I think it was supposed to be for some flirty tropical-themed tank-top or something. Hehhehhehhhhh....
Otherwise, same old. I'm taking the weekend off for a party that got moved; but we're having our own air-conditioning soiree' instead. I have a doctor's appointment on Tuesday to see what kind of surgical proceedure I need for my innards. (I'm trying not to be nervous. *gulp.* At least I'll have a better idea of what's in front of me so I can plan a little better.) Work isn't bad, but we need more people. I have those rice crackers I like so much in my lunch...
And so on and so on, world without end, huzzah and pass the wasabi...

Date: 2006-07-13 07:06 pm (UTC)The day of surgery didn't feel good and my sister, Joyce, came to the hospital and read me a story to put me to sleep!
She's a sweet sister. The next morning I was ready to smile at the doctor and soon was walking around the halls.
I've NEVER been sorry I had it done. Just wish I'd talked to a doctor sooner.
