msfledermausIt's getting really black outside...I'm kind of glad; we need the rain and I've always liked that kind of storm anyway after a ton of hot weather. The relief is palpable...
Otherwise....meh. I had my doctor's appontment yesterday and it wasn't the greatest. (Probably didn't help that it took forever to find the right building and whatnot, so my blood pressure was through the roof when they took it:/ Damn White Coat Syndrome.)
Anyway, the upshot is I have a couple of choices and I have a couple of week before I should pick one...but it's looking very seriously like I need a hysterectomy. I'm not real happy about this, obviously. Yeah, I'm 35 and fairly unlikely to have kids at this stage of my life, but it's still a shock to be told that you REALLY medically won't have any children. It's always been nice to have the option. But medically I should probably do what makes the most health sense...
So anyway, bit depressed for a while. I've been kind of dealing with this anyway; this just speeds up the process some. I'm sure I'll come to better terms with it, and I'm also sure it'll be a relief when I can get this all behind me. I'll almost definitely feel better. So I'm kind of shooting for that right now...
Anyway, time for workies. I should corner the schedular at some point and have a quick talk about needing some downtime after the surgery, whenever I book it. At least I'm not too rushed right now; I have a little time...
